The collector’s edition of Hearts of Darkness: The Art of Eleanor Coppola will be available for purchase on 4K UHD and Blu-ray starting on May 19, 2026, for the suggested retail price of $79.99. In addition, it will also include a special-edition art book. The documentary was shot and co-directed by Eleanor Coppola during the tumultuous production of her husband Francis Ford Coppola’s 1979 visionary Vietnam War epic, Apocalypse Now, which reunited The Godfather stars Marlon Brando and Robert Duvall.

The movie was directed by Eleanor Coppola, Fax Bahr, and George Hickenlooper, with Bahr and Hickenlooper writing the screenplay. The R-rated documentary was produced by Les Mayfield and George Zaloom.
