Diljit Dosanjh and Janhvi Kapoor have come together for Coca-Cola India’s latest campaign, but with an interesting twist — the two stars never appear on screen together. Instead, the campaign unfolds through separate films that highlight each celebrity in their own setting, bringing fresh energy and personality to the concept of taking a “Halftime” break. The new campaign explores the idea of brief pauses in everyday routines that help people reset and return with renewed enthusiasm.
While the central thought revolves around small moments of refreshment, the films lean heavily into the star power of Diljit and Janhvi, making the campaign celebrity-led and visually engaging. In Diljit Dosanjh’s film, the singer-actor is seen in the middle of rehearsals, seemingly caught in the intensity of performance prep. A quick Coca-Cola break changes the mood, and moments later he returns to the stage with full force, delivering a high-energy performance and setting the atmosphere on fire with his trademark presence.

The actor is shown during a casual drive with her girlfriends, appearing disengaged and bored stating that she doesn’t want to be behind the wheel anymore. After taking a refreshing pause, Janhvi reclaims the steering wheel with a revived spirit, turning the outing into a lively road trip moment.
Though both stars headline the same campaign, Diljit and Janhvi do not share any screen time. Their portions have been created as separate stories, each tailored to their distinct personalities and fan appeal. Their aim was to incorporate Coca-Cola into such everyday rituals which has always been the motto of the brand. The creative vision for the films was developed by WPP Open X and led by VML with Nakul Sharma and Tirtha Ghosh as executive creative directors. The tracks used in these commercials are an original retro-inspired soundtracks composed by Donn Bhat, featuring vocals by Vivek Hariharan and Aarifah Rebello.
Considering that the campaign has been launched across several major markets including Delhi, Punjab, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu and Karnataka, Diljit is expected to pull in the crowds from the northern markets, whereas Janhvi, who has South Indian roots, is said to be doing the same for Tamil and Kannada markets.
