The News' Andrew Graham gives his quick takes on the Tigers' 6-2 victory over the Red Sox on Sunday:One thing I lovedThat Hao-Yu Lee throw to first from deep down the third base line was killer. From the backhand stab to the lines in the mud on the edge of the sloppy infield, it was a truly great play — and tip of the cap to Spencer Torkelson for the pick at first base. That’s a high degree of difficulty play to make in good conditions, let alone a pig pen of an infield that had been thoroughly rained on (more on that soon) and amidst more falling rain.
That it’s Lee’s first MLB weekend is all the better. He’s looking like an apt fill-in on the infield for the injured Zach McKinstry, and will make a case for himself to hang around with more plays like that. And because video of that play by Lee proves elusive, here's Dillon Dingler breaking the game open with three-run home run.

And on this soaking wet Sunday evening, with the Tigers having just blown the game open, one got the vibe that both teams were content to get through the final innings quickly and get back in the dugout. And with the game already having been pushed back to 4:35 with rain earlier in the day, it turns out it was It seems wherever the Tigers have gone this spring, the rain has followed. For added insult, it was often sunny across Michigan today.
