Supply chain expert Bleckmann, which specialises in logistics services for fashion and lifestyle brands including Gymshark, Blakely and Superdry, has opened a huge new distribution centre (DC) in Lutterworth in the East Midlands. Set over 420,000 square metres (4,520,824.4 sq ft), the new DC adds to Bleckmann’s already extensive operational footprint in the UK, with other locations in Swindon, Bury St Edmunds, Burton-on-Trent, Crick and Corby. The new “multi-client space”, which measures 70,786 sq m (761,932 sq ft), will be fully operational as of July 2026, marking a significant milestone for Bleckmann’s growing lifestyle logistics offering.
The expansion of its warehousing footprint will allow Bleckmann to build on its successful track record of partnerships with brands across industries and categories, including beauty, haircare, sports and accessories, alongside fashion apparel. The new warehouse will also allow Bleckmann to provide even more specialist supply chain solutions tailored to the distinct operational needs of its fashion and lifestyle clients - ensuring flexibility and scalability while prioritising the customer experience. Tony Brito, Cluster Director for Bleckmann in the UK, said: “More than a service provider, our clients see us as a catalyst for the expansion of their UK operations.
From customs management to returns, we work to remove obstacles to growth, so they have better operational efficiency and more room to grow. “We look forward to providing even more brands with the targeted and scalable support they need to pursue their growth objectives. This new mega DC reflects our ambitions to further develop our specialised offering.” Earlier this week, Bleckmann announced a new partnership with Australian swimwear and apparel brand Kulani Kinis for the European market. Bleckmann will provide warehousing, order fulfilment and returns processing from its facility in Venlo, the Netherlands, launching Kulani Kinis’ first logistics operation based on European soil.
