The New England Patriots announced that they re-signed fullback Jack Westover, who officially signed his exclusive rights tender with the team on Tuesday. Westover began his career with the Patriots in October 2024. He joined the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Seattle Seahawks that year, before signing with the Patriots in the back half of the year.
He was elevated for three games and contributed to the special teams unit.Last season saw him convert from tight end to fullback following a season-ending injury to Brock Lampe. He appeared in all 17 regular-season games and all four postseason games during the season. He caught an eight-yard reception against the Los Angeles Chargers in the Wild Card round of the playoffs. Now, he will look to join a deeper fullback room that includes the likes of Lampe and free agent signing Reggie Gilliam, one of the best players at the position in the NFL.
