Nike releases the Moon Shoe in "Soft Yellow," giving its most classic sneaker a spring-worthy butter yellow refresh.
It's true: Nike has revived its first-ever sneaker, the Moon Shoe. And to be quite honest, it's never looked better. More like butter, really.
Like with other recent deep-cut revivals, Nike is letting the Moon Shoe be the Moon Shoe, meaning it stays faithful to the original flat-soled design. The model looked straight from the archives, even when dressed in brand-new Jacquemus clothes.General release efforts also maintain this retro charm, but in a more modern way. Take the "Soft Yellow" pairs, for instance.
These versions see the model dressed in the trendy butter yellow scheme, which has also produced stylish Air Superfly sneakers and Air Max 95s.The Moon Shoe is just as tasty in its butter-yellow outfit. But this spring treat is even more classic than the others. After all, Nike's Moon Shoe is the sneaker that started it all for the brand, and even made Waffle soles a thing.
It changed running forever. And now, it's back and dressing better than ever.Having already rolled out a few general-release colorways, Nike plans to release even more flavors. In addition to the "Soft Yellow," the brand will also be dropping Moon Shoes in navy and white colorways. All three sneakers will soon be available on Nike's website for around $115.Highsnobiety has affiliate marketing partnerships, which means we may receive a commission from your purchase.
