Dark Souls fans have long been requesting the return of this popular official release, and their prayers have finally been answered.
Dark Souls is arguably the most iconic FromSoftware franchise of all time, with an extremely active community of players who remain dedicated to the trilogy to this day. While it seems pretty clear that Hidetaka Miyazaki isn't all that interested in reviving the franchise anytime soon and an official Dark Souls sequel seems highly unlikely, most fans would love to see a proper Dark Souls 1 modern-gen remake.
