ASICS' GEL-FILIMY dad sandal is so back for the Spring/Summer 2026 season.The Japanese sneaker brand introduced the sneaker-sandal in 2025. It basically put the chunky soles of the GEL-NANDI trail sneaker onto a strapped-up summer sandal. And thus, the GEL-FILIMY was born.It arrived at perfect timing last year, just as sneaker-sandals were taking off as a summer trend.

Now, with the weather heating up again, it's time for the GEL-FILIMY to shine yet again.ASICS' dad sandals look even better after hibernation. It still maintains its extremely breathable look, accompanied by those belt-like lace-ups. But the brand has dressed it in fresh colorways, like the "Mineral Beige" scheme pictured above.ASICS has also brought back some previous options like the all-black and grey colorways.

They're all currently available on the brand's Japan website for around $85.Sneaker-sandals may have let the winterized shoes and fur-covered models have their moment during the cold season.
