HBO's The Last of Us Season 3 has added Sinners star Li Jun Li as a crucial character who didn't appear in the games.

After a breakout turn in the Oscar-winning Sinners, Li Jun Li will be turning her battle from vampires to the infected. A new report has confirmed that she is the latest addition to the quickly-expanding cast of The Last of Us Season 3 at HBO. Her role will be a fairly tragic one, too, as she's set to play Miriam, the mother of survivors Lev and Yara. Last month, Kyriana Kratter and Michelle Mao were officially cast as the pair, who both have a big part to play in fleshing out the story and world of The Last of Us: Part 2, which the post-apocalyptic drama will continue adapting with its return.
