SHAH ALAM, April 19 — A reprimand over smoking in the area is believed to have triggered a fight at a nasi kandar restaurant in Bandar Rimbayu, Telok Panglima Garang near here on April 15.Police are tracking down those involved in the brawl, which has gone viral on social media.Kuala Langat district police chief Supt Mohd Akmalrizal Radzi said the incident is believed to have been triggered after a person was reprimanded for smoking in the area, before the situation escalated and ended in a physical altercation. “Preliminary investigations found that a misunderstanding occurred between two parties after one of them was told not to smoke in the area. The situation escalated into a fight, with both sides assaulting each other,” he said in a statement today.Mohd Akmalrizal said the case is being investigated under Section 160 of the Penal Code.He also urged members of the public with information on the incident to contact the Kuala Langat district police headquarters operations room at 03-3187 2222 or the nearest police station. — Bernama
