From Neon and Academy Award-winning director Steven Soderbergh, The Christophers is a comedy drama about the relationship between a revered 1960s painter and a sometimes-forger, played by Academy Award-nominee Ian McKellen and Emmy Award-winner Michaela Coel. With the movie now in theaters, Collider’s Steve Weintraub spoke with Coel about her collaboration and lessons learned on set with both McKellen and Soderbergh, for a film penned with both leads in mind by screenwriter Ed Solomon.
