Another SEC series has gone down the drain as LSU has now lost four out of its six conference series.
LSU baseball hoped to bounce back after dropping Game 1 to Texas A&M, but LSU fell short again on Saturday, losing 7-2 and dropping the series in the process. William Schmidt got the start and the Aggies offense remained hot. A&M didn’t have any issues seeing Schmidt’s pitches as they chased him from the game after 5.1 innings.
He gave up seven runs on seven hits, striking out four and issuing four walks. Another SEC series has gone down the drain as LSU has now lost four out of its six conference series. LSU will get a chance to try and avoid the sweep on Sunday before taking on New Orleans on Tuesday.
