Kingdom Come: Deliverance and its excellent sequel have always been focused on history, and for the most part, they succeed. It's probably the most historical game we have in the "triple-A" space, now that Assassin's Creed is more focused on ancient Gods and weird Attack on Titan crossovers, and you can feel the love for history coursing throughout both games.
