Paramount debuted the first look at its upcoming fantasy film Children of Blood and Bone at the studio's panel during CinemaCon this week. The film is based on author Tomi Adeyemi’s 2018 novel of the same name, which is the first in the Legacy of Orïsha, a series of books set in a fictional African kingdom full of magic. Directed by Gina Prince-Bythewood — marking her first movie since 2022’s The Woman King, a historical epic starring Viola Davis — Children of Blood and Bone is set to arrive in theaters on Jan. 15, 2027.
