After over 40 million copies sold in three years, to say Hogwarts Legacy is popular or successful would be a gross understatement. This is doubly impressive because, despite it finally being the single-player, open-world Harry Potter action-RPG that fans of the Wizarding World have craved, it largely eschews Harry Potter nostalgia and carves out a ‘legacy’ of its own in a new era.
