Auburn women's basketball signs Seton Hall transfer guard Zahara Bishop, per the Auburn women's basketball social media.The six-foot freshman is coming off a season where she averaged 8.4 points, 3.3 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game. In ten of her games this season, she scored double digits, and two were 20-point games. Bishop's best performance came in a 74-65 win over Washington State, where she dropped 19 points, 10 rebounds, and two steals.Just two days before that game, she played against Auburn.
Seton Hall defeated Auburn 69-63 on Dec. 14, 2025. Bishop played 30 minutes of that game and recorded six points, four rebounds, and four assists.She brings in an offensive skillset that takes a big leap into her sophomore year on the Plains. Auburn has now added two guards in the last 24 hours, with Indiana transfer guard Phoenix Stotjin and now Bishop.
