The makers of Chand Mera Dil have released the film’s second song, ‘Aitbaar’, an emotional track that explores heartbreak, fading trust and the fragile phase of a relationship in transition. Featuring Ananya Panday and Lakshya, the song arrives after the response to the film’s title track and adds another layer to the movie’s music album. The visuals of ‘Aitbaar’ focus on the emotional distance between the lead pair, portraying moments of tenderness as well as conflict.

The track aims to capture the feeling of holding on to love while sensing that things are beginning to slip away. Composed by Sachin-Jigar, the song is sung by Faheem Abdullah and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. With a softer arrangement and emotionally driven melody, the track positions itself as one of the key emotional moments from the film’s soundtrack.

Speaking about the composition, Sachin-Jigar said, “With ‘Aitbaar’, we wanted to create something intense yet intimate where its music reflects that slow, quiet drift between two people. The melody is simple, minimal and we’ve let the feels stay take the centre. The composition holds that weight and Faheem’s voice brings out that ache in a way that feels completely real.” Sharing his experience of singing the track, Faheem Abdullah said, “‘Aitbaar’ comes from an extremely honest and vulnerable emotional space.

The title track had a certain softness to it, but with the song, I had to go deeper into the emotion. It needed more intensity, more ache. It’s that feeling when you’re still holding on, but you can sense things slipping and I tried to bring that into every line I sang.” Director Vivek Soni also highlighted the song’s importance in the narrative.

He said, “‘Aitbaar’ is one of the most emotionally significant moments in the film. It captures what often remains unsaid when a relationship begins to change. I wanted the song to feel intimate and real, where the silences speak as much as the words.

The music and performances come together to create a space that feels deeply personal and honest.” Presented by Dharma Productions, Chand Mera Dil is produced by Karan Johar, Adar Poonawalla, Apoorva Mehta, Somen Mishra, and Marijke deSouza. Directed by Vivek Soni, the romantic drama is set for a worldwide theatrical release on May 22, 2026. Also Read: Ananya Panday shares cute birthday post for Lakshya with Chand Mera Dil BTS pics
