It was a disappointing loss for the Penguins, but head coach Dan Muse is pleased with how the team has responded in practice ahead of Game 2.“The guys came in,” Muse said on Sunday after practice.

“They came ready to work. They had good energy. I thought we got something out of our day today. And so, now we move on to tomorrow.”The Penguins believe there were moments to build on in Game 1 that can give the team confidence.

Muse, meanwhile, liked how his team played in Game 1, despite the loss to the Flyers.“If you go back a little ways now, during the stretch where they were really kind of making a push to clinch, I thought we had good offensive depth throughout the lineup,” Muse added. “I thought we had good balance. I thought all lines were chipping in and creating, and creating in different ways.”Pittsburgh used the exact same lines in practice as they did in Game 1, so Muse isn’t expected to make any changes to his lineup after the loss.Puck drop for Game 2 is set for 7 PM at PPG Paints Arena in Pittsburgh.More NHL: How to Watch Penguins vs. Flyers Game 2: Channel, Live Stream & Start Time for 2026 NHL Playoffs
