After entering her name into the NCAA's transfer portal on April 6, former Iowa women's basketball guard Teagan Mallegni has committed and signed to play for the Wisconsin Badgers next season. The rising junior will join sophomore-to-be guard Addie Deal in Madison as the second member of the Hawkeyes program to make the flip to the Badgers this offseason.While there was promise for the 6-foot-1 guard to take on more of an impactful role, Mallegni's early-season injury setbacks and subsequent slip in the depth chart limited her to being a reserve off the bench. In just 15 appearances last season, she averaged 1.5 points and 1.3 rebounds per game on 24.2% field goal shooting and 15% from 3-point range.Home state.
