It marks the third time the brand has taken over the space, following events in 2022 and 2024. Gaggenau's Expressive Series oven is installed on a stepped stage, while its Vario Cooling Expressive series of wine fridges line the walls of the space behind brass-effect doors. The installation presents Gaggenau products within a minimalist architectural setting As well as the chance to experience new products first-hand, visitors will be able to enjoy events at the villa, including a Dezeen talk with architect John Pawson.

The talk will be filmed and published on Dezeen after Milan design week. Three-Michelin-star chef Tohru Nakamura contributed a culinary integration for the installation that demonstrates how Gaggenau's products can be used to prepare innovative dishes. Gaggenau has taken over Villa Necchi Campiglio for the week-long exhibition "Milan design week has always given us the opportunity to express ideas that go beyond the product," said Gaggenau managing director Peter Goetz.

"Presence is about refining to what is essential – allowing space, material and light to speak on behalf of the brand," he continued. "Here, the distractions and noise of Milan will give way to clarity. It will be a refuge for the design community."
