Julianna Margulies added to the cast of Paradise Season 3 Emmy winner Julianna Margulies has joined the recurring cast of Dan Fogelman’s hit Hulu series Paradise for Season 3, Deadline reported exclusively. The actress is best known for her roles in ER, The Good Wife, and The Morning Show.
Details regarding her character and the third season’s plot remain under wraps at this time. Sterling K. Brown stars in Paradise as Xavier, a resident of a serene community.
The community houses some of the world’s most prominent individuals. The show’s tranquility shatters when a shocking murder triggers a high-stakes investigation within the compound. Season 2 followed Xavier on a quest to find his wife Teri after discovering survivors in the outside world.
He journeyed beyond the Paradise bunker for the first time since the planet’s destruction. Back in Colorado, the community grappled with broken trust and newly unveiled secrets among its residents. Meanwhile, the Season 2 finale scored 4.3 million views globally in three days across Disney+ and Hulu.
That figure marked a 35% increase over the premiere, reaching a season-best audience for the sci-fi series. The cast also includes Julianne Nicholson, Sarah Shahi, James Marsden, and Shailene Woodley among others. Fogelman created and executive produces Paradise alongside Jess Rosenthal, John Hoberg, and Brown.
The series is a 20th Television production. Additionally, Glenn Ficarra, John Requa, and Steve Beers also serve as executive producers. As for Margulies, she recently played Laura Peterson in Season 3 of Apple’s The Morning Show.
Her additional television credits include Showtime’s Billions, Nat Geo’s The Hot Zone, and HBO’s The Sopranos. On the big screen, she starred in Millers in Marriage and recently wrapped production on the indie drama Penny.
