I've tried everything from overpriced valerian bubble bath to CBT (cognitive behavioural therapy to break the negative thought patterns and behaviours which disrupt sleep) and prescription sleeping pills.

I'm a life-long insomniac. Without fail, I wake every two or three hours - and it takes another hour to drop off again. But this 'brain retraining' tool is giving me the best sleep ever
