A new update from prosecutors in Australia says Katy Perry will NOT be protected by statute of limitations if the allegations from Ruby Rose go to court. According to what Jacqueline Harris, a rep for the Office of Public Prosecution in Victoria, Australia, told TMZ, if prosecutors find evidence for a crime following Ruby’s disturbing allegations, this could be a full-blown court case. Katy could even be facing charges, if the investigation finds anything against her. The law at the time the alleged [offense] was committed applies to criminal proceedings and sentencing for historical [offenses].” As of right now, no evidence has been made public nor has Katy been charged of anything, as her reps deny anything happened. Meanwhile, Ruby recently said since she reported her allegations, she’s no longer allowed to speak about them publicly. Thoughts on this, Perezcious readers? [Image via Judy Eddy/MEGA/WENN.com]
