LSU softball completed a sweep of Ole Miss on Sunday with a come-from-behind 8-5 victory in Tiger Park. It marks the first sweep of an SEC team for the Tigers in 2026. In back-to-back games, LSU recorded double digit hits.
On Sunday, the Tigers had 11 hits. They were led by Tori Edwards, who went three for three with two home runs. She hit a solo shot to lead off the fifth inning and tie the game at 5-5 then blasted one to center field to put her team ahead by three runs after six innings.
Tori Edwards went a combined six of eight across the series. She got around for an inside-the park home run in Friday's contest, which LSU won 6-4, then pushed the winning win across in Saturday's game by drawing a bases-loaded walk. Kylee Edwards held the heavy bat on Saturday, going two of four with three RBI.Jayden Heavener and Paytn Monticelli pitched in each of the three games.
