Science fiction is one of the most evolving genres because, as cinematic advancements emerge, it mirrors developments in technology and discovery. Once upon a time, we could only dream of a future where computers would control the world; now they dominate our lives. We could only once dream of what the galaxy looks like and who might be out there; now we have a better idea. As new explorations occur, the types of science fiction films produced have changed.
