Penn State adds talented cornerback to Class of 2027 recruiting haul.

Penn State head coach Matt Campbell got a little more good news on the recruiting trail on Sunday afternoon after one of the program's top cornerback targets announced his commitment. Kei'Shjuan Telfair, one of the top cornerback targets for the Penn State staff, is heading to Happy Valley in the Class of 2027.Telfair is a four-star cornerback from Euclid, Ohio. 247Sports rates him as the 14th-best cornerback in the nation and the fourth player overall out of the state of Ohio. He is a top-100 player according to the 247Sports composite.Telfair had a long list of scholarship offers to consider, as expected.

Among the offers on the table were Ohio State, North Carolina, and Pittsburgh. Telfair is scheduled for an official visit in June, which was to follow official visits to Clemson and Miami in the prior weeks.Telfair announced his commitment to the Nittany Lions after making a trip to visit Miami, which followed a recent visit to Penn State.
