Kamara was once one of the league's top backs, but his play has seen a sharp decline over the last few years.Kamara named Saints draft day trade candidateWith the 2026 NFL Draft in Pittsburgh just days away, USA Today's Jack McKessy listed Kamara as a possible trade candidate."Kamara will turn 31 in July, and the Saints seem to have found their new (and younger) lead back in free agency by signing Travis Etienne. There are plenty of teams that should be enticed by a veteran running back with the kind of dual-threat abilities Kamara has," McKessy wrote.Seahawks, Giants, and Broncos could have interest in KamaraThe Seattle Seahawks, New York Giants, and Denver Broncos could be interested in trading for Kamara, as all three teams could use more talent in their running back rooms.Seattle lost Kenneth Walker in free agency to the Kansas City Chiefs and hasn't done much to replace him outside of signing Emanuel Wilson.Kamara's ability to contribute in both the rushing and passing attack would make him a nice fit in the Seahawks' offense, and the veteran would also pair well with Zach Charbonnet when he returns from a torn ACL suffered in last season's playoffs.Though Cam Skattebo showed some promise during his rookie campaign in 2025 before going down with a dislocated ankle, New York would be wise to add some insurance behind the Arizona State product.Kamara could be a potential target for the Giants as they look to surround quarterback Jaxson Dart with as much talent as possible.Denver's running game was incredibly lackluster last season, and though Kamara wouldn't fully solve that issue, the five-time Pro Bowler would take some pressure off RJ Harvey and add much-needed experience to the Broncos' running back group.Kamara would also be a solid security blanket for quarterback Bo Nix, a role the 30-year-old has played throughout his career.Keeping Kamara doesn't make sense for the Saints, and general manager Mickey Loomis should look to cut ties with the franchise legend soon to officially usher in a new era.More NFL NewsWhy Giants and Bengals pulled off blockbuster trade involving Dexter LawrenceCowboys $4 million trade candidate could receive interest from Packers, Steelers, Rams and JetsPackers, Rams, Bucs and Ravens could show interest in Colts $33 million trade candidateLatest Trent Williams update should interest Packers, Chiefs, Bears and SteelersSeahawks, Packers, Vikings and Giants named top landing spots for Chargers 779-yard trade candidate
