He’s an intriguing player. Wilkins is a big, strong forward, but at 6-8 and 220, he may also be able to play on the perimeter.
With the team Jon Scheyer is assembling, Wilkins has the potential to play either forward position or, potentially, as a wing. We didn’t get to see a lot of him before he redshirted, but this past year’s team was deep and talented. He’ll benefit from playing against Cameron Boozer, Pat Ngongba, Maliq Brown, and others on a daily basis.
