Gabe Dynes is a familiar name in Kentucky Wildcats basketball circles. The 7-foot-4, 214-pound center honed his skills in the Bluegrass State, emerging as a standout player at Simon Kenton High School in Independence. This past season with the USC Trojans, he participated in 30 games and started six, averaging 2.9 points on an impressive shooting percentage of 78.8%, though he struggled with free throws at 35.3%.

Additionally, he contributed 2.3 rebounds and 1.0 blocks in just under 12 minutes per game.Now, Dynes finds himself at the center of a competitive recruitment battle between two elite college basketball programs: Kentucky and Louisville. He is scheduled to visit Lexington on Wednesday, followed by a trip to Louisville the next day.
