Apple TV’s Silois set in a dark future where 10,000 people are crammed into an underground structure controlled by leaders who keep much of the nature of their community and the history that brought them there a secret. The show is based on Hugh Howey’s Wool trilogy, and Showrunner Graham Yost has spent the past two seasons slowly moving through the plot of Howey’s first book. The trailer for season 3 shows they’re moving on to Howey’s second book, Shift, which moves much of the focus to the events that led to the end of the world as we know it.
