Pittsburgh Steelers veteran Cameron Heyward made his sales pitch to Aaron Rodgers to run it back in 2026.

As the Pittsburgh Steelers await an answer from Aaron Rodgers, defensive tackle Cam Heyward has made yet another appeal for the veteran quarterback. On Friday's episode of The Rich Eisen Show, Heyward made a newfound sales pitch to Rodgers, asking him to run it back with the Steelers in 2026."He's worn the black and gold. Just return, baby," Heyward said via The Rich Eisen Show. "That's all we need.

I think he had a fun time being a part of this crew, and we really enjoyed his company. I'd like to be able to run it back."Back in March 2025, Heyward seemingly took aim at Rodgers' decision-making process, saying that "either you want to be a Pittsburgh Steeler or you don't." Heyward would quickly dismiss any claims that he was calling out the veteran quarterback and would go on to build a strong relationship with Rodgers last season.Hopefully, Rodgers will return sooner-than-later as the Steelers continue to build an exceptionally strong roster with a new-look coaching staff to boot. For up-to-date Steelers coverage, including any offseason moves, follow us on X @TheSteelersWire and give our Facebook page a like. This article originally appeared on Steelers Wire: Steelers' Cam Heyward asks Rodgers to return to Pittsburgh in 2026
