Discovery Home Entertainment has announced the digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for They Will Kill You, its newest action horror comedy led by Emmy Award nominee Zazie Beetz. This comes nearly a month after the underrated movie was first released in theaters.
“The film unleashes a blood-soaked, high-octane horror-action-comedy in which a young woman must survive the night at the Virgil, a demonic cult’s mysterious and twisted death-trap of a lair, before becoming their next offering in a uniquely brazen, big screen battle of epic kills and wickedly dark humor,” reads the official synopsis. When are the digital, 4K, Blu-ray, and DVD release dates for They Will Kill You? They Will Kill You will be available to rent or own on digital platforms starting on April 28.
It will then be followed by its 4K UHD, Blu-ray, and DVD release on June 30. The movie received mixed reviews from critics and moviegoers. It currently holds an approval rating of 65% on Rotten Tomatoes, which is 12% lower than its Popcornmeter score.
The movie was directed by Kirill Sokolov, who co-wrote the screenplay with Alex Litvak. The ensemble cast also includes Tom Felton (Harry Potter), Patricia Arquette (Severance), Heather Graham (The Hangover), Myha’la (Bodies Bodies Bodies), Darron Meyer (Generation Kill), Armando Rivera (Any Day Now), and more. It was produced by David Ellison, Dana Goldberg, Don Granger, Dan Kagan, Andy Muschietti, and Barbara Muschietti.

During its theatrical run, the film only grossed around $19 million at the box office. Executive producers were Sokolov, Litvak, Russell Ackerman, Carl Hampe, John Schoenfelder, Marisa Sonemann-Turner, and Rudi Van As.
