Washington running back Jonah Coleman said visiting with the Broncos was the 'highlight' of his pre-draft process.

A top running back prospect recently called his time with the Denver Broncos the "highlight" of his pre-draft process.During an interview with Rich Eisen on The Rich Eisen Show,Washington Huskies running back Jonah Coleman had nothing but good things to say about his pre-draft visit with the Broncos."We had a quick conversation," Coleman said of his meeting with Broncos head coach Sean Payton. "He asked me how I was doing, he said that he was excited to have me there. It was great meeting him.

Just the whole Broncos organization was ultimately in great spirits when I was there. I felt all the love that they have to give, and just the camaraderie that they have as far as a coaching staff and the culture that they're building there is amazing. "I would definitely say that's been the highlight of the draft.

They showed nothing but love and the utmost respect while I was visited there and it was just an amazing experience."Coleman was rated with a second-round grade by Draft Wire's Curt Popejoy. In four years of college play (two at Arizona State and two at Washington), Coleman played in 50 games, rushing 552 times for 3,054 yards and 34 touchdowns. He also totaled 87 receptions for 838 yards and three scores as a receiver out of the backfield.

Coleman is also a solid blocker, which could make him a decent RB3 option, should Denver pick him with their first selection at 62nd overall in the second round. Coleman would be a fantastic fit, and it seems like the feeling is mutual! Social: Follow Broncos Wire on Facebook and Twitter/X!
