The Wisconsin volleyball team will have another postseason rematch on its 2026 schedule.The Badgers will face Texas on Sept. 13 at the Moody Center in Austin, Texas, the team announced April 20.It is a rematch of the Badgers' four-set win over the Longhorns to send UW to the 2025 Final Four – its fifth Final Four berth in a seven-year span.The 2026 match is at the 15,000-plus-seat Moody Center that usually hosts Texas men's and women's basketball instead of the 4,000-seat Gregory Gymnasium.The 2026 match in Austin follows a 2025 regular-season match at the Kohl Center in Madison and a 2024 regular-season match at Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee. The latter was part of the State Farm Women's College Volleyball Showcase.Texas is coming off a 26-4 season and has won at least 20 matches in all but two of Jerritt Elliott's 25 seasons at the helm.Other known nonconference opponents on the Badgers' 2026 schedule includes Kentucky on Aug. 21, Louisville on Aug. 22, Florida on Sept. 2 and Auburn on Sept. 3.The Kentucky and Louisville matches are part of the AVCA First Serve at Fiserv Forum, and the Florida and Auburn matches are part of the inaugural Big Ten/SEC Challenge at the UW Field House.This article originally appeared on Milwaukee Journal Sentinel: Wisconsin volleyball to play 2026 nonconference match at Texas
