If you’ve read a fair few Stephen King books, it’s fair to also assume that you’ve read a few thousand pages worth of text. Well, not all of his books are almost the size and weight of a brick, more just a few of his all-time greatest, like It, The Stand, some of The Dark Tower novels, and 11/22/63. He can write big novels that are continually readable like few other authors in history, and so that makes it even more impressive once you start digging into his shorter works and realize he’s also been able to do a lot with very few words.
