It turns out the OASIS still has a little juice left in it. Steven Spielberg’s Ready Player One never totally disappeared from the culture, but it is having a fresh little wave on streaming in a few territories right now, which makes the timing feel especially handy. The reason is obvious enough: The franchise is heading toward a new update later this year, and that tends to get people curious all over again.
