Mindhunter is indisputably one of the best psychological series out there. With that out of the way, we can also admit that some other TV shows are better. Mindhunter provides a glimpse into the minds of serial killers with fantastic actors playing fictionalized versions of actual killers. It's also based on the story of the coining of the term: the realization that there is a psychological aspect behind repeat killings that drives these horrendous individuals to kill again and again in ritualistic ways.
