2026 has been a big year for Apple TV thus far as it continues to build on the record-breaking success from 2025. One of the biggest new releases for the streamer this year was the second season of Hijack, the Idris Elba-led thriller that has still not been renewed or canceled. Apple TV also recently debuted the highly anticipated second season of Jon Hamm’s prestige drama, Your Friends & Neighbors, which is quietly becoming a flagship property for the streamer.
Just because there’s been no shortage of great TV shows, though, doesn’t mean there haven’t been some hit movies as well. Sitting unchallenged in the #1 spot on Apple TV right now is Outcome, the new Keanu Reeves-led film written and directed by Jonah Hill. Outcome was only the second project (behind Eternity) to briefly take the top spot from Brad Pitt’s F1.
