Even though Tides Of Tomorrow is quite a linear game when it comes to exploration, you still have to interact with quite a lot of NPCs. Since it's a post-apocalyptic world, normal currencies don't have any value here. Instead, most of the deals are done with scrap, which is an item you can find all across the different islands.
