Bhooth Bangla has entered the 100 Crore Club. The film has managed this feat on its 8th day in theatres. It’s also the third film to cross this landmark in 2026 after Dhurandhar The Revenge and Border 2, both of which did extraordinary business.
These were much bigger films though and also franchise/sequel offerings whereas Bhooth Bangla is a standalone mid-range film. Akshay Kumar has now scored his yet another century which adds on to his Rs. 100 crores+ run after SkyForce, Housefull 5 and Jolly LLB 3. The superstar has been consistently delivering at the box office and that’s what continues to make him the darling of distributors as there is guaranteed return.
Also, Priyadarshan has yet again shown that as a veteran filmmaker, he understands the pulse of the audience. As for Ekta Kapoor, she has a solid success in hand now. The film will now continue to do good business for next few weeks since collections actually moved up from Rs. 5.50 crores on Thursday to 5.60 crores on Friday.
That’s a good trend as from here on the collections will only zoom further over the weekend. The film has already collected Rs. 100.55 crores and now it’s all set to go past the Rs. 150 crores mark. Note: All collections as per various box office sources
