After holding well on Monday (Rs. 8.10 crores) and then growing on Blockbuster Tuesday (Rs. 9.30 crores), Bhooth Bangla had a stable Wednesday as Rs. 6.80 crores came in. These are good enough to keep the first week as healthy and set it up well for the second week. The film has seen a drop when compared to last couple of days but then that’s expected since there was Blockbuster Tuesday offer and that results in heavier than usual footfalls, something that always impacts Wednesday collections.
Today though, the film will be stable which means close to Rs. 6 crores will still come in. The Akshay Kumar starrer has now reached Rs. 89.45 crores and while Rs. 90 crores mark has been crossed as you read this, the collections will go up by around Rs. 5 crores more. That would be a healthy total for the film and while it’s a success already, the second weekend will decide its quantum.
Bollywood had been reeling with a lot of disappointments in 2026, what with only Dhurandhar The Revenge and Border 2 bringing in big bucks and The Kerala Story 2 being a decent success. However, this Priyadarshan film will be not just a Rs. 100 Crore Club success but also emerge as a clear winner which is good news indeed for the industry.
