The Tampa Bay Buccaneers were rumored to go tight end as early as 15th overall, with some mock drafts attaching them to Kenyon Sadiq. Instead, they wait until their final pick in the 2026 NFL Draft as they add a depth piece to a group that seems set now, going into the 2026 season. With the 185th pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, the Bucs selected LSU tight end Bauer Sharp.

Sharp transferred to LSU from Oklahoma and became their blocking tight end opposite the athletic playmaker in Trey'Dez Green. While Green is getting TE1 hype for the 2027 NFL Draft, Sharp, meanwhile, will be fighting for a roster spot in a position group that is full for the Bucs. With him being picked, we mention the tight end room is full, so could this mean Devin Culp could be on the way out?

Camp will tell but it will be a position group we now watch a lot closer. This article originally appeared on Bucs Wire: NFL Draft: Bucs add some TE depth with Bauer Sharp in NFL Draft
