McCoy’s stock has dropped significantly, but we’ll see who takes a chance with his medical concerns.8:30 AM: Where do the Browns stand heading into Day 3 of the draft, regarding their remaining picks? As of this morning, Cleveland does not have a 4th round pick. In the 5th round, they have a logjam with four picks within a seven-pick span.

Here’s a brief recap of what happened on Day 2, although Matthew Wilson also has a full recap here:The Browns stayed at No. 39 overall and took WR Denzel Boston, which revamps the picture of the Browns’ wide receiver situation.

It’s interesting because I know fans were mixed on WR KC Concepcion, but it’s one of those cases where I wonder if those fans who were pessimistic about Concepcion’s drops would have preferred Boston in the fist round, and Concepcion in the second round (but ultimately, it seems unlikely Concepcion would have been there in round two).Cleveland initially had picks No. 70 and No. 74 in the third round heading into the day. They traded No. 70 away to move up to No. 58, where they grabbed S Emmanuel McNeil-Warren.Later, Cleveland traded down from No. 74, making us think they were done for the day.

However, when No. 86 was on the clock, the Browns traded back up to select OT Austin Barber. It was the first pick who fans were kind of like, “Huh?” about, maybe since it didn’t match the excitement of the first four selections.With all of of those little trades, the big net result, for now, seems to be that Berry was able to add a fourth-round pick in 2027.
