Hall confirmed the news recently in a video posted to the official Dexter X account, where he appeared alongside James Remar, which means Harry Morgan is returning this upcoming season.

Michael C. Hall reveals Dexter: Resurrection Season 2 filming status In the video, Michael C. Hall shared he was sitting with Remar and teased “exciting returning and new guest stars” set to appear in Dexter: Resurrection Season 2’s upcoming episodes.

He described the upcoming season as “another thrill ride” and told fans to “stay tuned.” The production continues filming in New York City, where the first season was shot. However, as of now, there’s no release date announcement. Uma Thurman reprises her role as Charley. Jack Alcott returns as Harrison Morgan, alongside Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine (Blessing Kamara), Kadia Sarif (Claudette Wallace), and Dominic Fumusa (Melvin Oliva). Furthermore, Desmond Harrington, who made a brief guest appearance in Season 1 as Joey Quinn, has been elevated to series regular status for Dexter Resurrection Season 2.

Newcomers to the cast include Brian Cox as the New York Ripper, an unidentified serial killer who resurfaces to taunt surviving victims. Dan Stevens joins as the Five Borough Killer. Bokeem Woodbine will play the NYPD Homicide Department captain, and Nona Parker Johnson will play his daughter, an NYPD Homicide training officer.
