Duke women's basketball's Kara Lawson is set to join the "WNBA on Prime" team as an analyst, the media company announced on Thursday, April 23, ahead of the league's 30th season.Lawson is the latest analyst addition to the lineup, which also includes Cynthia Cooper, Teresa Weatherspoon, Lindsey Harding, Ty Young and LaChina Robinson. Candace Parker and Swin Cash are also a part of the lineup. Lawson was also named the head coach of Team USA women's basketball on Sept. 22, 2025.
She is a former Olympic gold medalist and WNBA champion who previously served as an analyst for ESPN and the Washington Wizards before she began coaching.Lawson, who has been head coach at Duke since 2020, led the Blue Devils to a 27-9 record during the 2025-26 season as they swept the ACC regular season and tournament titles and made it to the Elite 8 of the 2026 NCAA Tournament.
