They also won the Diocese of Covington Invitational after scoring 198 points.Ohio big-school baseball: Chase Roesch, Edgewood – The junior had three hits including a three-run homer in a 7-5 win over Ross, then had a single and RBI in a 3-1 win over the same Ross team.Ohio small-school baseball: Bray Schoumacher, Williamsburg – The senior had a huge night in a 12-2 win over previously undefeated Blanchester. He pitched a complete game, giving up two hits and two unearned runs, striking out three.

He had what is believed to be a school-record 17 strikeouts (13 consecutive), allowing only one hit in a complete-game shutout.
