Writing on Truth Social, Trump on Wednesday claimed a “RIGGED ELECTION” had taken place in Virginia despite there being absolutely no evidence of any irregularities or fraud in the conduct of the plebiscite the previous evening in which 1,575,288 voters cast ballots in favor of a constitutional amendment which permits the implementation of new districts drawn by Virginia’s Democratic-led General Assembly, bypassing an independent, bipartisan commission which has drawn district lines since 2020. The ballot measure was approved by 51.5 percent of voters who turned out in the special election, compared with 48.5 percent who voted against it.

No irregularities were reported during the voting on Tuesday, and Democrats had indicated that they expected to win based on heavy turnout in Arlington, Fairfax, Loudon, Prince William and Henrico Counties, all of which are home to hundreds of thousands of federal workers, many of whom have been affected by the Trump administration’s efforts to slash federal employment rolls to punish what GOP loyalists believe is an anti-Trump “deep state.” Trump nonetheless claimed Republicans had been “winning” the referendum “all day long” — until what he described as a “massive ‘Mail In Ballot Drop’” changed the GOP’s fortunes. “Where have I heard that before — And the Democrats eked out another Crooked Victory!

Six to five goes to ten to one, and yet the Presidential Election in November was very close to a 50-50 split,” he said, seemingly oblivious of the fact that he lost the 2024 election in Virginia 16 months ago by a similar margin: 51.82 percent to 46.05 percent. Continuing, Trump also groused about the ballot measure’s language, calling it “purposefully unintelligible and deceptive.” “As everyone knows, I am an extraordinarily brilliant person, and even I had no idea what the hell they were talking about in the Referendum, and neither do they!” he said. A big part of the sanewashing around this increasingly demented shambles of pseudo-person is the assumption that calling himself extraordinarily brilliant is some sort of heel in a WWF schtick work.

But the work is now a shoot as they apparently say in the business. I have no doubt that Trump really believes what he’s saying here, at least about himself, because he’s that deranged. Of course it helps that he has North Korean style flatterers unctuously groveling before the imperial throne: Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F.

Kennedy Jr. surprised onlookers by claiming that President Donald Trump employs his own version of calculating percentages. The health and human services secretary testified Wednesday morning before the Senate Finance Committee, where he told Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA) that the 79-year-old president uses a “different way” to determine percentages to explain discrepancies in his claims about prescription drug price reductions, reported Newsweek.

“President Trump has a different way of calculating percentages,” Kennedy said. “If you have a $600 drug and you reduce it to $10, that’s a 600 percent reduction.” I would have thought if there was one person in the Trump administration who would be good at calculating drug prices, it would be RFK Jr. Thanks I’ll be here all week. Try the veal, it’s the best in the city.
