There are a lot of ways to celebrate Earth Day: planting a tree, recycling, or just going the extra mile to care for the wildlife around you. For Netflix subscribers, the holiday also brings an endearing new look at the streaming service’s next hit movie. On Wednesday, to celebrate Earth Day, Netflix released a brand new clip from the upcoming film adaptation of Remarkably Bright Creatures.
The film, which debuts exclusively on the platform on Friday, May 8th, is led by Academy Award-winning actress Sally Field, as well as Thunderbolts* and Top Gun: Maverick fan favorite Lewis Pullman. The clip showcases the early “dynamic” between Field’s character Tova, who works as a cleaning lady at the local aquarium, and a giant octopus named Marcellus (voiced by Alfred Molina).
