If you've ever wanted a single-player version of Final Fantasy XIV, you're not alone. I've got friends who are always asking me if it's going to happen. The reality is that each expansion is in many ways its own game, a full-fledged sequel, and I'm not sure even the Final Fantasy VII Remake trilogy team could crank out a game with more than "just" A Realm Reborn and Heavensward in under four years.
