With less than an hour to go until Day 3 of the draft opens, the Browns will have to wait a bit before they can select, after multiple moves took them out of the fourth round. Then, GM Andrew Berry can go to work with four picks all close together near the top of the fifth round.So far, so good for Cleveland’s draft, including a phenomenal Day 2 that put the Browns at the top of Mel Kiper Jr.‘s winners list.
Day 3 still has some value left on the board, with the health update on CB Jermod McCoy leading to the biggest fall this year. Berry could look to move up with his extra picks in the fifth round, but the Browns GM noted how important it was that they added an extra pick to their 2027 NFL draft pile, so we could see it again. Ivan Pace went undrafted due to size concerns and has excelled in the NFL. Louis could do the very same thing while providing immediate special teams help.TE Dallen Bentley, UtahFamiliar with the Browns first pick, Spencer Fano, Bentley is well-versed in run blocking and can help Monken’s offense be versatile with two tight end sets.DT Zane Durant, Penn StateAn up-and-down prospect, Durant showed good movement skills at the NFL combine and can help contribute right away as a penetrating defensive tackle.Seventh RoundFB/TE Riley Nawakowski, IndianaGetting Monken a fullback is a priority, but they are rarely drafted very early.
